1. Who We Are

ReviewsMerger is a hospitality intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available review data for hotels and restaurants across the GCC region.

2. Data We Collect

Account data (email and display name), location data (only with permission granted, never stored), watchlist and preferences, and usage data via Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.

3. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate your account and secure your session, display your watchlist, send optional alert emails, and detect your approximate city. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

We source review data from the Google Places API, the TripAdvisor Content API, Outscraper (for Booking.com data), and ipapi.co for anonymous location detection.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Aggregate review scores are retained indefinitely as they constitute our core dataset.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@reviewsmerger.com.
